Maria Elena Cabrera, General Manager, comes to VanGo with unsurpassed credentials. Having worked with Federal Express, Maria started at the bottom as a dispatcher and worked her way up the corporate ladder to Manager. Utilizing her 14-years of experience and thorough understanding of the transportation business, Maria brings an unassailable measure of professionalism to VanGo, as well as a positive attitude and a wonderful sense of humor.

With twelve years of dispatching experience in the Southern California area, Arturo Heredia (Senior Dispatcher) brings an unmatched expertise to the always lively and harried dispatch desk. With the blending of communication skills and a thorough knowledge of the Los Angleles freeway system, Arturo is usually able to pull a rabbit out of his hat when weaving his magic late Friday afternoon in frenzied L.A. traffic. "Just give me enough time to work out the details" is Arturo's motto.

With a background in the transit industry for the likes of Laidlaw, Coach USA and Connex Transit Services, Arturo is used to the high-pressure nature of the job. Utilizing his computer, mapping skills and mobile phone, put him to the test. As he says, "there is no traffic condition in L.A. that I can't weave my magic". One of VanGo's oldest and trusted employees, Jose Romero has been with us for more than six years. He has climbed the ladder of success at VanGo by his longevity and more importantly, his driving and safety record, pleasant customer service, knowledge of over-the-road tours thoughout the United States, and just being an all around good guy. Jose has recently been elevated to the position of VanGo senior driver. We congratulate him and wish for another six years as part of the VanGo Team.

Jose's duties will include being operator liaison between all other department heads and VanGo operators. He will also take a leading role in our monthly safety and training classes, disciplining and documenting complaints made by clients against operators and helping our newest operators become acclimated to their vehicles and new surroundings.
